Day 3 — The Forgotten Room
There are parts of you that have been waiting years to be remembered.
Not fixed.
Not changed.
Remembered.
When life becomes difficult, we rarely forget our responsibilities.
We rarely forget how to work.
How to survive.
How to carry the weight.
Instead, we forget other things.
We forget what made us laugh.
We forget what filled us with wonder.
We forget the dreams we once carried.
The things we wanted to learn.
The places we wanted to go.
The parts of ourselves that had nothing to do with survival and everything to do with being alive.
Not because they stopped mattering.
Because life became loud.
And little by little, those pieces of us slipped into a room we stopped visiting.
Until one day we find ourselves standing before a forgotten door and wondering why something feels missing.
The answer is often simple.
A part of you has been waiting there all along.
Not angry.
Not broken.
Not demanding to be fixed.
Only waiting to be remembered.
Come... Sit with me awhile...
Sometimes the forgotten room does not contain your pain. Sometimes it contains your joy.
