Day 6 — The Room Of Wonder
Before the world told you who to be, there was a version of you who simply was.
That person still exists.
Long before the expectations.
Before the responsibilities.
Before the labels.
Before the roles you learned to carry.
There was a part of you that did not need to prove anything.
A part that did not need permission to be worthy.
A part that did not measure its value by what it accomplished, earned, fixed, or survived.
It simply was.
Life has a way of covering that part of us.
Not destroying it.
Not taking it away.
Only covering it beneath years of responsibilities, disappointments, expectations, and noise.
And after a while, we begin to believe that who we became is all we have ever been.
But every now and then, something breaks through.
A memory.
A feeling.
A moment of stillness.
A glimpse of wonder.
And suddenly we recognize something familiar.
Not someone we used to be.
Someone we still are.
The soul beneath the titles.
The heart beneath the armor.
The self beneath the story.
And perhaps that is the greatest wonder of all.
Not that we must become someone new.
But that the one we have been searching for never truly left.
Come here... Sit with me...
Beneath everything life asked you to become is the one who simply is.
