Day 4 — The Key

The key was never finding someone to rescue you.

For many of us, that realization is difficult.

We spend years believing that if the right person arrives, they will somehow unlock what has been hurting inside us.

They will have the answers.

The wisdom.

The words.

The healing.

But what if the door was never waiting for another person?

What if it was waiting for your curiosity?

Not the kind of curiosity that demands certainty.

The kind that quietly asks:

"What if there is more to me than I have remembered?"

"What if there is a part of me I have not visited in years?"

"What if something beautiful is still waiting behind that door?"

Curiosity is powerful because it does not require courage.

It does not require confidence.

It only requires a willingness to look.

To wonder.

To take one small step closer.

And sometimes that is enough.

Because the key was never finding someone to rescue you.

The key was becoming curious enough to open the door and listen to the voice you stopped hearing years ago.

Come... Sit with me for awhile...

Curiosity often opens the doors that fear has kept closed.
